it was hard for me to get this photo because my friend really didn't give a rat's about having his picture taken, but i persisted. his name's byobi, and he's a fantastic musician. excellent flute, best drummer in hawaii, and he does other great stuff too. even gives wise counsel sometimes. also: infinite patience (with me, anyway).
